Whitestone Awarded Contract for MARS to CMMS Integration
Santa Barbara, CA – August 31, 2007 - Whitestone Research has been awarded a contract by the Battelle Energy Alliance to integrate Whitestone's MARS Facility Cost Forecast System with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) and Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL).
MARS will be linked to both InforEAM (formerly Datastream) and Maximo. The project's goal is to ensure synchronicity between the systems to avoid duplication of data entry. The "CMMS Crosswalk” will automatically transfer selected equipment inventory information from each CMMS to MARS, and incorporate the data into MARS forecasts.
