SANTA BARBARA, CA - February 6, 2005 - Whitestone Research announces the completion of a nationwide study estimating the demand for Facility Maintenance & Repair (M&R) services. Whitestone analysts combined county-level building data with life cycle M&R models to estimate current and near future demand. In aggregate, U.S. demand for M&R services was an estimated $210 billion in 2004. Individual estimates were made for over 3,000 counties, and include forecasts of labor and material requirements by industry and specific building system.
